How To Create local Delivery (Using Pincode) In Shopify

Many shop owner provides different or alternative ideas of delivery during a pandemic. Some owners create eCommerce stores and provide local delivery and local pickup to customers. because using these alternatives customers feel safe and buy any products online.

Shopify also provides local pick-up or local delivery options. as a store owner, you can change your shipping according to your requirements.

Here, we show you how to create local delivery for neighboring customers.

Step 1: Go to Shopify admin and click on setting on the left side at bottom of the page.

Step 2: Then click Shipping and delivery. Scroll until you see the Local delivery section and click manage on any of the store locations that you want to offer local delivery.

Step 3: This location offers local delivery goes under the Delivery area to configure your settings.

Step 4: Fill in all the details according to your requirements here we select the local delivery option with Pincode. 

Step 5: The next option allows you to configure postal codes, to which you can deliver, you can enter them one by one or you can enter a list of postal codes, be sure to separate each postal code with a comma. 

The last option allows you to set your delivery prices, please enter the price you want your local delivery service to cost. If you want to offer free delivery enter 0.  

Step 6: On cart page shows your local delivery option update in the Shipping method.
