What is the shopify app?

A Shopify app is a software application designed to extend the functionality of the Shopify e-commerce platform. Shopify is a popular online store platform allowing businesses to create and manage online stores. Shopify apps are additional tools and functionalities that can be added to a Shopify store to enhance its capabilities. These apps can be developed by Shopify or third-party developers and are available through the Shopify App Store. They cover many functions, including marketing, sales, customer service, inventory management, analytics, and more. Shopify apps can help store owners customize their online stores, streamline business processes, and improve customer experience.

How to deploy the shopify app to the shopify app store?

Follow these steps to update app configuration and release an app version using the Partner Dashboard:

1. Login to your shopify partner account.

2. From the Partner Dashboard, go to Apps.

3. Select your app from the list.

4. Click Configuration.

5. In the Configuration page, make your changes.

6. Click Save and release.

2. From the Partner Dashboard, go to Apps.

 

3. Select your app from the list.

Select an app from the list of apps that you want to deploy to the shopify app store.

 

4. Click Configuration.

Click configuration to open the app configuration page. You can add configuration details of your app which are mandatory to submit your app for shopify review.

 

5. In the Configuration page, make your changes.

Fill in all the mandatory fields (App Name, URLs, Webhook URLs, Icon, etc…)

 

6. Click Save and release.

Click the Save a Release button after filling in all the details correctly.

 

After saving all the configuration details correctly you may redirect to the app submission form page.
