What is Shopify Magic?

Where can You use shopify magic in the store?

You can use Shopify Magic in various parts of your store to streamline tasks with AI-generated content. Here’s where it’s available:

i. Product Descriptions: Generate engaging product descriptions directly in your product settings.

For Example, If you want to create a description for your snowboard product then go to your product settings > click on the Magic icon above the description field > Write the instructions that you want in your description and then click on Generate.

It will generate the description based on your requirements. Press the Keep button to keep that draft or click on Generate again to generate another draft.

ii. Image Background change: Change the background of the image using Magic AI

You can change the color of your image background or generate the background image for your product images.

For Example. If you want to change the background of your snowboard product image from a boring white background to an attractive snow background image, you can do it easily with shopify Magic.

Go to shopify admin > content > Files and choose the image of the product that you want to edit or you can open the image editor from any particular product by clicking on the product image from the product setting.

At the right side of the page, you can see the option of ‘Replace background’. Just describe what you want for your image background and click on Generate and Shopify Magic will suggest the options below the image with different backgrounds. Select the option and save the image.

You can also change the image’s background colour or remove any image’s background using Magic.

Just click on the Color background option and select or remove the color of your image.

iii. Blog Posts: Create content for your blog using AI suggestions.

You can generate the content for the blog post using the same method. Go to Blogpost > Open or Create new blog > Click on the Magic icon and write the instructions > Click on Generate and it will generate the content for your blog post.

iv. Pages: Add AI-generated text to pages like About Us or FAQs.

Shopify magic also generates the content for your pages.

v. Theme Editor: Generate headings and titles for your online store’s theme.

Using Shopify Magic, you can generate titles and descriptions for your theme sections from the customization.
